Oh Lord, you are our Father, we are the clay, You are the potter; we are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8 NIV) The Lord is good and it is truth to sing about, and sing about in days of darkness, for through the light of Gods countenance appears hidden for a moment, this quality remains forever. God is good. Because of Gods goodness, His mercy endures forever. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble and despair. Gods mercy is extended for us in our sin and in our our needs, and because God endures; His goodness and mercy likewise endure. IF we hold steadfast in this we will find a place of retreat and defense, not matter what experience we go through. The Lord knows us, our thoughts, our hearts and knows us more intimately than any other. Realizing Gods love for us makes us want to walk before Him in holiness all of our days. For He is our God, and we are the people of his pastue, and the sheep of His hand. (Psalms 95:7) I said to the Lord; apart from You I have o good thing: (Psalm 16:2) The Rock, his work is perfect, for all His ways are justice. A God of faithfulnes and without iniquity, just and upright is He.(Deuternomony 32:4) But to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things;and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ; by whom re all things, and we by Him.
