Oh Mama Salone, where peoples exhibited and sometimes tangible executed value-based propositions makes me wonder where we are heading for or stand morally. If only we could simply call a spade a spade and stop massaging definitions, realities, and facts geared towards skewed outcomes, our beloved country would be on a different moral high ground and footing. If only we called things as they were, what an ideal ethical state that would be. If only we shed parochial and partisan lenses and saw things in their true forms, colours, and shapes, what a probity platform that would be for all to stand on and benchmark the much needed values required to build the foundation of a nation, prepared to exist for the people, by the people, and of the people, and without fear or favour. I reckon that it is high time, we went back to the basics, the very fabrics that define us as a nation that seeks the truth, nothing but the truth in its entirety, that will inevitably set us free.
