Oh PLEEEEEZE Senator. You will do the BIDDING OF OBAMA. You have shown that for his (Obamas) entire Term in office. You will not represent your State or its People. The War on Cola is one GLARING fact that shows where your loyalties lie. And Obama care being under the control of the IRS is a double evil. The IRS is under investigation because it CATERS to Obama....as you do. Your words ring hollow to a Person who believes the system SHOULD WORK. Dear Mr. Heberling: Thank you for taking the time to contact me about the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and implementation of the Affordable Care Act. I appreciate hearing from you about this issue. Over the next several years, the Affordable Care Act will extend health insurance coverage to an additional 30 million Americans, ensuring that 95 percent of our Nation has access to quality, affordable care. I recognize that the Affordable Care Act is not perfect, and that some changes may need to be made. However, I believe that this law reflects our Nation’s commitment to ensuring access to health care for all Americans. The IRS is responsible for administering several provisions of the Affordable Care Act, including the premium tax credit to assist low-and-moderate income individuals purchase health insurance; the individual responsibility fee for people who do not obtain health insurance; and other tax provisions included in the new law. However, most of the Affordable Care Act, including provisions that regulate health insurance and health care providers, is administered by the Department of Health and Human Services, not the IRS. I believe that all federal agencies must administer federal programs in a competent, fair, and non-partisan fashion. Please be assured that I am following the implementation of the Affordable Care Act closely, that I am weighing in with the administration where appropriate, and that I will keep your views in mind. To learn more about what the Affordable Care Act means for Pennsylvania and for you, I encourage you to visit healthcare.gov, which has additional information about the specific provisions in the bill and how the legislation will be implemented.
