I love thee to the level of every day’s most quiet craving by sun and by candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for the perfect Jalapeño. I love thee purely, as they turn from excessive testeronic (is that a word?) heat. I love thee with the passion put to use In my first discoveries of thy passion and with my childhood’s naievtity of addiction. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose with my affection for banal foods. I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my batches and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better tomorrow as I add more garlic.............Oh garlic, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways......... If you love hot salsa the way I do, you might enjoy this wonderful and SIMPLE recipe that is my absolute favorite. Remember to adjust it to your own personal taste preferences. I always use a LOT more cilantro, cumin and garlic and more jalapeños if needed because their heat us seasonal. And the picture showing what type of Rotel tomatoes to use: forget the Mild and just use 2 cans of the Original, unless you like it wimpy. Oh, and if youre vegan as I am, forget the cheese on the chips. Its totally unnecessary!
