Oh, That Mouth, That Mouth! Ecclesiastes 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. Do you know that the enemy CANNOT read your mind? Oh, he can throw thoughts into your mind, but he cannot tell what is going on inside your head, UNTIL you open your mouth. Many of us talk way too much and the problem is that we are saying the wrong things. Many of us are in situations today because of what we let come out of our mouth yesterdays and then we want someone else to set our lives right, when it is our own mouth that got us in trouble. James 3:3-8 Behold, we put bits in the horses mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame, it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. We can kill our own selves with our tongues, not to mention how we can kill others with the words that come out of our mouths as well. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit there of. If we are running our mouths too much we must remember that we will eat every word that we speak. (Now, think about what you have been saying out of your mouth and look at your life situation), does your life line up with what you have been saying? Our words that we speak have creative power. Let me say that again differently: The Words That You Keep Speaking Is Going To Create For You. If you are speaking words of life, words that uplift, words that speak a wonderful future, that is what you are going to have, that is what is going to be put into motion for you. Pray and ask the Lord to keep your eyes sharp to recognize the new opportunities coming your way, but if you are speaking words of death, words that say I am so sick, I am so tired, my life is a mess, I will never achieve this or that, I am nothing and never will be anything, that is what you are going to have and that is what is going to be put into motion, just for you. When we speak negatively we give the enemy the fuel needed to work against us, (You better catch this in your spirit). When we open our mouths and say negative things we are helping the enemy to bring us down, we are letting him know that the thoughts he threw at us, we caught it. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Stop getting into agreement with what the enemy is saying, as a matter of fact, Stop listening to the voice of the devil. Resist him! When the devil comes a talkin tell him to get to walkin! and PRAISE, WORSHIP GOD the Father, no matter what! Father I thank and praise you for this, another day. I thank you Father God for waking me up this morning and thank you Father God for keeping watch over me as I slept on last night. Lord I bless your great name this day and I give you all glory honor and praise. You are so great and so good and I thank you, thank you, thank you Father for all things. Lord today I ask that you would bridle my tongue. I ask that you would keep the doors of my lips and I ask that you would help me Holy Spirit to let my words be few and Lord the few words that I do speak cause them to be words that speak life only. Thank speaks life into my life and into the lives of all of my love ones. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Father God be acceptable in your sight. Dont let me forget Lord to NOT speak words that bring death and destruction. Stop me from speaking anything Lord that would bring a negative effect into my life. I thank you Father for the times that you have already spoken to me and said in my spirit concerning words that came to mind and I was about to form and spew from my lips: dont say that or dont speak that. Thank you Father God for putting a watch at my mouth, thank you Father God, thank you! Lord I thank you for your love, I thank you for your kindness, I thank you Father God for your mercy and your grace. Thank you for being so good to me Father. I am truly so grateful to you for all things. Lead and guide my footsteps today Father, keep me on a right pathway. Keep my heart right Lord. Create in me a clean heart Father God. Wash me in your blood Lord Jesus. Wash me Lord from all sin. I will keep my mind on you Lord and I will keep my eyes fixed on you Lord and I will not look to the right and I will not look to the left I will keep my focus on you and all that you have called me to. Help me Holy Spirit to walk in obedience to your word, teach me Lord your ways, teach me Lord your statues, teach me and lead me Lord into all truth. Father I praise you and thank you and love you and exalt you. Father I lift you up and give you all the glory you are so wonderful and you are so great and I bless you this day and I honor you this day and I say thank you Father God for all things.
