Oh.. That you have fallen in love with just the one? I know how that feels to.. Its so painful. You feel like youre going to die.. Like you want to explode into millions of stars.. Just so you can feel like life makes sense again.. Sometimes I wonder.. If we have love for more than one person at a time, does it mean that we are doing that so we do not have to deal with the hurt of just one? Or do we love just one so that we dont have to feel the hurt of living more than that? I like to think that we follow our hearts. That we honour what feels right for our heart... but we dont. The truth is we do not. That is why we really hurt. We dont understand what our heart needs.. We might not even figure that part out. We might never understand.. What we can do though, is listen. Even if we feel like it will hurt very badly.. Listening to the heart, is the best part. It teaches us patience, it teaches us that we are still learning... It teaches us that even though some of us choose to have many lovers, and some choose to have one lover.. We share and discover a part of ourselves, and grow to accept this part of ourself.. In whatever partner(s) we choose! I wish for a world.. Where love is free, to be. Just the way it is. When we can love the way we are, it is beautiful - Brittany Garrity
