Oh. The roof about to blow up in here. Grrr.. I do *not* like to see my friends mistreated. Yesterday, I witnessed the most abhorrent behavior by who should have been grown ups at a holiday party. Instead, one person in particular was completely inappropriate in her remarks all throughout lunch. Our beautiful and charming hostess was telling us stories, and all I heard behind me was this person talking over her, even standing up to do so, calling our fair hostess a victim who doesnt want to do anything proactive as she told us of a dog bite shed received a couple of weeks ago, because she chose not to report it to the police as JackAss kept telling her to do. Then there was this; can we move along. Is she the speaker of the day or something? Is anyone keeping track of the time? Etc This was all at our table. I was more and more pissed as it went on because I was trying to record video for the clubs site. I cant do that with two people making such comments that will be heard on the video. Then she made attempts at taking over certain aspects of the event. At one point I got so mad at my recording attempts being aborted I slammed my camera down and walked away with a what the f*%# is wrong with you? And as I did, I hear my handsome hubby say in his I suggest you listen NOW voice.. you both really need to learn how to be quiet when others are speaking! It all wraps up when JackAss refers to our hostess as whats her name, to which our little lady proudly responded its Lucille. My name is LuCILLE. And thats why we love her. And now it seems JackAss wont be returning. Let the door dont hit you where the dog should have bit you. Oh, and generally I try to keep it PG around here but...
