Oh...! What message do we want to give to our new generation, [ if at all they want to have one ?] ? It is horrible to see TV news channels with all those talk shows and discussions ! And a real terrible experience before going to sleep, as it haunts you for long, disturbing the peace of mind. We have a generation of politicians [ in all parties ] whose behavior is totally unpardonable.It seems some of them do not feel ashamed even..or they do not find it shameful to talk and behave in this manner. Ours is a democratic country and our constitution has given us right..freedom of speech, thinking that we will learn our responsibilities and prove ourselves as free country. Our political parties and our politicians had differences and they discussed, argued but within the descent limit of a mature person. We did not insist upon any kind of qualification for them thinking that we will have the best as our representatives. But, with years, we can see that we have failed. Look at them..they are our representatives and we have elected them ! We have lost our right to express our displeasure !! With a vast TV network, we can see them daily..they talk any thing and every thing on screen, before the nation, and turn away their faces from it the very next day, denying or say sorry under heavy pressure. They argue in a way in which even a layman will not , in the public, before camera., thanks to the democracy, and tolerance of the people. And, we have these Anchor persons on TV shows, !! Not allowing invited participants to speak, and talk in such a rude manner as if they are the only saviors of democracy. We do need bold persons to ask bluntly and insist for the truth, but, they also need to be in their limits. The power of media is a weapon to protect the freedom and it is good also, the new approach of bold journalism is equally appreciable, but the ultimate goal of any discussion is to find the truth in the larger interest of the country. Only trying to prove once point, finding faults, blame games, excuses, running away from the issue will not serve the purpose. The nation is watching you..or is it busy in their day to day problems and enjoyments and not bothered about it and that has given our politicians and media a chance to fill in the time !! God knows.!!!
