Oh, boy......My Las Vegas Mission is creeping up, and I am both excited, AND nervous....Excited, for obvious reasons--its a get-away and change of scenery from New Jersey......Nervous, because I will be trying to find work, apartment, etc....What if Las Vegas is too snobby to hire a NJ girl??....What if nobodys hiring at ALL?? The Water Shortage worries me, the crime, (I think I will definitely need a gun out there, from what Ive been reading!---BUT, at least I CAN have a gun in Nevada! ) Houses are going up in price now.....(it figures!) By the time I have the funds to buy, townhouses will be as expensive as NJ!!..Ugh!..LOL!....Hopefully the Property Taxes will stay down.....but if they BAN SMOKING ON THE STRIP, as Ive also read is in the works, taxes will soar, as nobody will gamble / visit as much.....(Think:--- Atlantic City-Ghost town---SMOKE-FREE...our property taxes in NJ are 10k per year..for a modest house, in a modest neighborhood.....and we still have to deal with 8 month long winters, and shovel snow, scrape ice, sleet, drive in black ice(VERY Dangerous)....even though, for those taxes, the snow and ice should self-destruct without human intervention!.........WANTED to put Feeling Analytic but didnt have it! :-o
