Oh, cos it be da Australia day today, I fink it is nice to share dis wille boys wish..Read dere story eberyone:) I have a special campaign to share with all of you today!! This little boy, Eli from Australia, wants to be Santa Claus for 2015 and give gifts to the animals at his local shelter heart emoticon When I read about this today, I HAD to share it with all of you!! Here is Elis story: Elis Christmas Wish For 2015: Two days after Christmas Day 2014 my 5 year old son Eli asked me if Santa visits the cats and the dogs at the shelters/rescue homes. I told him that I dont think he does. He was devastated. Tears welled in his eyes and he said Can we please be Santa for the animals in the shelters for Christmas next year mummy? They need presents and happiness for Christmas too!. What could I say? Of course I said a big YES!! That afternoon we went to our local supermarket and bought our first 2 cans of dog food, a squeaky toy and a box of dry cat biscuits to start the collection. Every supermarket visit we are grabbing just a few items to add to the collection. Its unreal how fast it accumulating already! Eli is even selflessly spending his pocket money on toys etc. for the animals instead of spending it on himself. Our goal is to fill a trailer with anything and everything for cats and dogs: Food (wet & dry), treats, toys, collars, leads, bowls, kitty litter, bedding, blankets, flea treatments, shampoo, anything and everything we can think of that would be needed! You name it and we want to stockpile it! Due to the fact that we are collecting for delivery a couple of weeks before Christmas 2015, we are being hyper aware of best before dates and trying to buy things that have an expiry of 01/06/2016 or later.
