Oh god, I’m glad I drank a giant Red Bull before this morning’s segment because “Off the Cuff with Holly Nunan” is a difficult thing to watch! Yikes. (Regardless, Joan Jett IS truly a mega babe.) But despite my almost unbearable awkwardness I still managed to talk about some awesome music happening this weekend including shows from Chris Ross, Rustic Overtones, The Band Apollo, The Ghost of Paul Revere, Kris Rodgers & The Dirty Gems, mike watt, Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations, Noe Socha and more! Ahem: *Please keep in mind that this is an ever-so-brief listing that obviously does not include every tremendous, talent-laden show in our state. Just because it wasn’t mentioned in these 3 minutes does not mean it isn’t awesome OR that I purposely omitted it from the segment. A girl’s only allowed so much time to ham it up on the TV first thing in the morning. Anyway, please, please, please get out there and enjoy some live music from the many awesome acts that’ll be playing at the many awesome venues throughout Maine this weekend.
