Oh how I LOVE this article! My children love going to church (Mt Pleasant Baptist Church) and never will I keep them from church. There comes a point in time we have to show tough love to our children and yes mine do get taken out on a regular basis to be reminded that they know how to act. There comes a point where they have to learn to sit still. Do I take things for my children to do while in church, yes, but at least they are learning to sit still and quiet. I had this conversation with Trent...if he can sit in school for 8 hours a day or yes watch a movie he can sit for 30 min (he must do the worship part and sing) and listen even if coloring or doing something else. I suggest every parent read that takes their children to church.
