Oh how I wish they had to apply for residency!! These people are beyond anything that Minneapolis is used to, and I only see them continuing to come because they believe that this city is open Game! We need more than 8 dedicated squads to stop this, and the support of Hennepin County in not allowing people to move from city to city applying for welfare! If they received in one city they should not get an increase when relocating here! No Section 8 until you have been a resident for 5 years! & at that time you will go on the waiting list in the order that it was received! And if your teens have/had a criminal record in your previous location, it should be a stipulation that they control them or lose your welfare benefits!! Broadway is a DANGEROUS Place to be, and at any moment a bullet can fly! There have shootings from KMOJ to Mcdonalds, and that Lyndale bus stop is no better! I see nothing but people loitering all day in front of the few business establishment left, All day Everyday!!! We need a loitering, pan handling law ASAP! There is no reason that you would need to stand in front of a store for 8 hours + a Day!! SMH.....................Tired of watching nothing being done!
