Oh, how are we going to be fed? Dear child of God, Do many - TopicsExpress

Oh, how are we going to be fed? Dear child of God, Do many of God’s dear people not ask this question when they experience tough times? Well, in my own life many years ago, I had that experience, but Jesus always had a plan to provide in the most unusual way, and many of us can testify to that, not so? The Lord just inspired me this morning to write the following poem that might just be for you, or then for all of us in general, to learn something from it; even perhaps for the future. Love you all ~ Uncle Jacques and Aunt Mary. Matthew 14:19 – 20 ”Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.” • Jesus broke the Bread of Life that day, to such an extent that the crowd did not want to go home, but stay. • Their spirits were satisfied, and nothing as far as that was concerned, was denied. I am sure that the truth Jesus spoke, did cause many a person cry. • Hearts and wounds were healed, and comforted many did feel. There was no reason to push one another, or over petty things did squeal. Matthew 14:14 ”And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.” • Jesus, our Saviour and Master was in control, and peace and contentment filled people’s soul. • When Jesus stopped to teach, people started feeling the hunger pangs and probably thought or said: ”Oh my, oh my, how are 5000 plus of us, going to be fed? Luke 12:22 - ”Then He said to His disciples, Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing…” Verse 31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.” • When Jesus told the crowd to be seated, they probably thought, looking at His disciples, ”These guys are well organised”, but that did not do the work ~ The miracle happened when Jesus prayed and broke the bread, and then the multitude of people were fed. • You see dear friends, it was in the heart and not the head. The answer did not even lie in anyone’s faith, or brain wave, but in Jesus’s mercy and grace, that filled their stomach’s empty space. • So, in our situations, Let us look up to Him, whom the answer to our need will bring. • His honour, glory and praise, because of the miracle, we will sing.
