Oh man, I cant wait. I just bought this tent and it should be here in a couple weeks. It is a two-person hammock tent. These are great in jungle conditions. No need to buy/pack a sleeping bag or a mattress pad. No need for flat ground. If it rains buckets and the water is 6 inches deep, no problem, we wont get wet. Ive got all the other needed gear, and Apple and I both have backpacks. Ive had mine for a long time, she got hers on sale at R.O.X. last month. Ive been researching places to go camping within about 4 hours of Manila that arent simply backpacker ghettoes. Ive got some lined up, and I cant wait! *I did not order my hammock tent in the camouflage pattern shown here, because Im mildly worried about being shot by insurgents if I camp in the backcountry. All my Filipino friends will know why. For my friends overseas, camo can make them think youre military. Communist rebels arent big fans of the military.
