Oh my God , What a terrible story for Christine Bates and her dog and to the poor Bernesse , am just not sure where to go with this . Was the dog just doing its inherent job of protecting its family or does it have genetically predisposition for random violence? You say the dog has been good to its immediate family right ? My thoughts are to keep a close eye on its behavior to its current family and also to safe guard against any other animals entering in to the family compound.
