Oh my! Such a Merry Christmas to all of you! As I sit here in my brightly colored christmas apron amidst the mess of wrapping paper and baking detritus, I am so grateful to each of you and feeling quite emotional after reading the words by Ann Voskamp from her daily advent book, Unwrapping the Greatest Gift which said, God turned one last time as a Baby inside of Mary, and then the skin of very God slipped naked and small into hands that He Himself had made. This is the birth of God - Who can find words? #runonsentenceaward #icanthelpmyself And I know that all of my friends believe and think differently - and I enjoy that diversity - but today is my favorite, and my heart is overflowing, and I just wanted to share that and this short video we watch every year. Its the unscripted retelling of the basic story with adorable bloopers including Mary falling off her donkey, wise men crying, and a glo-stick party at the end. So precious! All this to say, I wish you a joyous day and silent night of SLEEP and REST ... because thats what we all really want, eh? And that is what Baby Jesus came to give: Rest and Hope for our weary souls.
