Oh my! What a long day and what an ending.. Was just walking back with the dogs from a late evening walk around 10:30pm when I saw a cat on our drive - not something unusual seeing as I have 7 but even from a distance (and with my dodgy eyesight) I knew something wasnt right.. The cat wandered off but I felt compelled to follow and make sure it was ok so John took the dogs inside and I followed the white / tabby cat.. On closer inspection the poor thing could hardly walk, was very weak, poor stability on its back legs and when I picked her up she was completely skin and bone! :( Took her straight down to the garden cabin and gave her some food - Ive never seen a cat eat like that before, she was ravenous! Her fur is very matted and is obviously very underweight but could see no sign of injury. I will get her to the vets asap tomorrow to be scanned for a chip but for now shell be warm and dry - shes got a pen in the cabin with blankets, food, water, and heat pad so for tonight shes comfortable.. and full! :) She was purring after a few chin rubs ❤️ and Ill go back to check on her before I go to bed.. I absolutely believe it was complete fate she came to me tonight - 5mins earlier or later and I wouldnt have seen her and Im not sure any of the neighbours would have know to take her in - it was meant to be that I helped her! :D Will keep you all posted cat fans.. ❤️❤️❤️ sleep tight xx
