Oh my dear ... we received a frantic call this morning about a dumped puppy out in the Elgin country. We rushed to the house and found a barely weaned 6-7 weeks old puppy, emaciated and dehydrated. Her eyes are solid goop. We scooped her up and headed for Elgin Family Pet Center where they immediately took her in for treatment. With skill (and prayers) they were able to get in IV in her and started giving her fluids, vitamins and electrolytes. She is also very anemic therefore, getting a blood transfusion. Hookworms have done a lot of damage to her poor little body. We have named her Faith. We only received two donations from my last plea to help with our high veterinary bill. Now we have this live-saving effort going on. Please help if you can. My last post was seen by 374 people. If each donated $5, we would have $1800+ to go towards her care. Just imagine what $10 or $20 could do! Please share this post and get Faith some help and donations. She is worth it! companionconnection.net/index_files/RescueMissions.htm
