Oh my good lord... I dont even know where to start! What an experience... Just been for a meal at a Michelin Star restaurant in the Yorkshire countryside... I couldnt have looked more out of place in fairness, surrounded by 7ft tykes discussing their latest shoot and haggling over land prices per acre, one guy said he owned a 3,000 acre forest and was selling it £1,800 per unit... Proper posh, rich cunts! But the food... Wow!!! Absolutely unreal and worth every single penny... For appetisers we had scrambled duck egg with truffle oil with potato and caraway seed sourdough served in a traditional Yorkshire flat cap... To start I had Haslet of local Yorkshire Reared Game, Pickled Plums, Sloe Gin Dressing with Cinnamon, Ginger and Roast Chestnut Brioche... For my main I had Riffle shot Mallard (served rare), Black Pudding, Quince Jelly, Dauphinois Potatoes, Crispy Kale, Candied Turnip Tartin, Yorkshire Sauce, Buttered Cavolo Nero, and Chunky Chips deep fried in Dripping... The for dessert I had Dark Chocolate and Orange Pudding with Bramble Ripple Ice Cream... Also had a cheeky Pinot Grigio and Yorkshire Lager... Absolutely out of this world!!! Photos to follow...
