Oh my goodness! This is a speech that I would love to give to about 6 doctors, specialists and surgeons. This put a big cheesy grin on my face, picturing what some of the rude, obnoxious, know-it-all doctors that didnt know zilch about what I was going through. What I continued to go through and what I still have to deal with, now and forever, because they wouldnt consider for a second, that I knew my body. And that I knew something wasnt right. They talked down to me, recommended, and pushed me into agreeing, then with no concern for the upcoming heartache and feeling like I was losing a huge part of me, proceeded and removed my most precious and valued organ that nourished and protected my 3 most valued creations. A lot of people, women too, dont understand the need for a woman who is done with child bearing, would care so much to give up that ability when I had zero problems. They were guessing. A shot in the dark. my God, what I would give to turn back time and stand up to doctors. Stand up to insurance companies to get proper testing covered when they deny. But just most importantly, STAND UP FOR KATHY. FOR ME! For Katie Meal Kristen Meal and Keri Meal s mother! I may have been here in the physical sense, but who they knew as there mother slowly, slowly, disappeared after 3 yrs of empty promises and life altering pain and symptoms that will forever change their mother, as they once knew her. I want my girls to know that Im still here, buried in the rubble of Lyme. But Ive been fighting and will continue to fight. Because my girls, my precious Steve and all of my loving and caring friends, that have been beside me and taking such good care of us. I am making strides, I will fight, claw and climb my up, through and out of this whole, this tunnel of darkness ******* I will fight!!!!......... >>> I AM JUST A GIRL INTERRUPTED!!!!!
