Oh my gosh, I just realized I havent posted on here in /forever/. (All those puns are scheduled btw, but I havent actually posted anything in real time in ageees) Anyway, I do have a story for yall xD So Thursday evening, I went Black Friday shopping with my mom around 9 PM. We went to the outlets, and it was about 10:30 when we finally went to Macys and I actually got to sit down and rest for awhile while my mom browsed the shoe section. I got bored just sitting around, so I texted my mom and told her Id be in the jewelry area. I was looking at engagement rings (they were all so pretty omg) when this really tall guy (ok maybe he was tall to me bc Im like 411 but still he was really freakin tall okay) walked up and stood beside me and started admiring all the rings. All of a sudden, he called for the lady at the counter and he was like Hey. Uh, Im proposing to my girlfriend tonight, and I need to find the perfect ring. Now, being the hopeless romantic that I am, I got really excited and I tapped him on the shoulder and I was like, Sir, sorry this is really weird and I dont usually talk to strangers often, but oh my gosh youre proposing?! Thankfully the guy didnt look /too/ freaked out but he was a bit taken aback and he looked and me and smiled and nodded and said Yeah. Weve been together 7 years, and I thought it was about time. (let me make this easier on myself and type our conversation like this): Me: Woah, 7 years?! Thats amazing. Him: *smiles* I know. Hey, while youre here... do you mind helping me pick out a ring? Me: *holy crap I get to pick out a ring* Of course! Me: *looks through the glass for a long time and finally chooses one* Him: Thats perfect. Me: Will your girlfriend like it? Him: *laughs* She loves anything silvery and sparkly. Me: If you dont mind me asking, how are you proposing? Him: Not at all *laughs* I called her and told her to meet me outside the cafe at 11. Its not anything big, shes not into that kinda thing, but Im still really nervous. Me: Aww, Im sure itll go great! Him: I hope so. He left soon after, and I went to find my mom and couldnt stop fangirling over the fact that someone was getting engaged that night and /I/ got to choose the ring xD The guy looked so nervous and it was absolutely adorable c: I spent Friday watching romantic comedies because the proposal put me in such a romantic mood xDD Anyways~~ How was your Thanksgiving/Black Friday? c:
