Oh my heart hurts. Haley had such a terrible night. Seizures every hour on the half hour. Im exhausted and frustrated knowing that those might have been prevented. Knowing that this relentless attack on her body and brain could be spared this if only she had access to the medicine voters approved in 2012. Im consumed by desire to help my baby, consumed by anger at those who are denying her access and consumed by sadness that they think its ok to relegate her to a life of suffering and pain and then tell us to be patient.
