Oh my, how sad. I think the gun laws are ridiculous. Its like these zero tolerance school rules. Break a rule unintentionally and get the book thrown at you with no discretion by the powers that be regarding your record or the circumstances. As I read the comments, I saw a few She should have known the reciprocity laws, and while I agree that we are responsible for knowing reciprocity laws, I still think it is an onus that is too harsh for the citizenry. Why do we need to burden ourselves with all of this anyway when the 2nd amendment recognizes our God given right to bear arms? I shouldnt have to ask permission to exercise a right. Thats what sticks in my craw more than anything. The police tell us that we are responsible to obey the law, regardless of ignorance of the law, yet they are not held to the same standard when our rights are violated even when we are obeying the law. And laws are constantly being made that are in opposition to our natural rights. They cant even name them all, and they expect us to know them??? Its a burden on the citizenry that is unjust.
