The ancient story swirls around us dense dark spinning we paddle up into the virgin spring the youngest one her emerald pool aglow red flowers turquoise flashes of light our offering white as stars the deer skull offering we left is now taken by her I dive down and pick it up and put it in her hair again and you sing to her "oh virgin spring the place of the spirit lovers you make the Shaman it is you who let him flow from your body it is you who create the universe" and we make an offering of one page of she who makes the shaman and we kiss in the waters and as in ancient times they swirl us upwards and make us one we merge in a whirling spinning vortex of water and our bodies open and join in light and darkness and bubbles come out of our joining and she is happy once more she sings "it has been many moons since spirit lovers has left an offering and kissed in my waters I rejoice" we paddle down river floating on her love and make love for hours within her waters and in my ecstasy I see the animals flowing from her vagina the peoples coming from her embracing making love as they emerge the light itself born as bubbles and she giggles and sings to me "yes it is me my love who gives birth to all forms and you can only see that inside of me in your lovemaking you only can see that after you swim up into me and leave me your offerings oh my spirit lovers you do.
