Oh, my stars! My visit went so great! I love my surgeon!! He was so nice today. He is completely in support of waiting on the surgery until I am fully ready. He is scheduling lots of fun tests for me in the near future... oh, joy... I DO have a hernia... I was correct in my thinking. That would normally mean another surgery, but he is going to wait and see what all my other tests show and then he will take care of the hernia when he does my other surgery. I thanked Dr. Shebrain for everything and told him that we trust him because we know he trusts the same God we trust. He told us that he had no plans to stand before God on Judgment Day and have to explain why he did any unnecessary procedures/surgeries on any of his patients just for an extra paycheck. He said that we all have to remember that, while it is understandable that I would be fearful, that God knew all of this would happen just the way it did and that we just need to follow His plan. God is soooo good!! He had two little PAs with him today. One of them had a thicker accent than mine! She is from Kentucky. Well, after Dr, Shebrain left the room, that little southern girl stepped back into our room. She said she just had to come and tell me that I had made her miss her mama. She had to shut the door because she was starting to cry. She said that she was so thankful that I had come in today, because she needed a little reminder of home... LOL! THEN she asked me about my little notebook that had BE YOU BRAVELY on it... I told her that it was our theme this year for ... she finished my sentence and said, MOPS, right?! What!? How good is my God to let yet another Christian be in on my care!!!! We talked about MOPS for a bit and where she goes to church and about how awesome it was for God to work all these little things out for us as little treats and special gifts for His children. My heart was so full by the time I left there that I couldnt do anything but fight ugly-face crying while I was checking out. Thank you to each of you who have prayed faithfully for me and my family during these last months. Those prayers have been heard, people! My God is still alive and working daily!! It was a good day!!
