Oh my...this is worth passing along...theres a lot more interesting status updates on your timeline tonight but Im giving this one a shout out... Keith and his Big Sister went to Marquette University, a Catholic university in Milwaukee. None of our family members are Catholic but Kenzie...and then Keith... were led to attend this Jesuit college. Ive been excited over the last year as Ive read about what all Pope Francis has commented on and the various changes he is advocating. In addition to instilling different thoughts and ideas into the Catholic Church, his simple, down-to-earth suggestions seemingly lend themselves to...all of us. People of all faiths and religions as well as those folks who may not go to church but are...special souls who are saved by the grace of God. Some of you may not even realize it but...you are a child of God. Mr. Carr...youre losing me...what the heck you ramblin bout tonight... The Popes 10 Tips For Happiness...thats what Im talking about... #1) Live and let live. Who am I to judge?...Judge not... #2) Give yourself to others. Give all you have.(Im terrible at this) #3) Move quietly in the world. Walk in balance & beauty, disturb nothing. #4) Enjoy leisure. Play with the kids. Take time off. #5) Sunday is for families. Worship, meditation, & renewing your spirit. #6) Find jobs for young people.(and older people as well) #7) Respect nature. Is humanity killing itself to live? #8) Let go of negative things quickly.(Easy to say, hard to practice, Im trying) #9) Dont preach your religion too forcefully.(the Pope really said this) #10) Work for peace. Blessed are the peacemakers. I just read this and thought...I like this...its telling me to tell somebody... I dont know much about Catholicism or the Pope or...much of anything about anything but...this FB posting comes Keith Carr approved and tested. Peace & Blessings to you.
