Oh oh, tak tahu. Its something annoying that many of us used to hear, and probably say, when we do or see someone do wrong. Starting out as a simple thought to put Lionel Koh in J-horror makeup (courtesy of Amanda Chun Ning, who managed to design the character pretty spot-on when we saw him walking around on set) and have him stalk Jared, The Fish Lantern grew into something different - a direction thats opposite of GRIM FILMs recent forays and more in line with its namesake, and a different style from its opening scene to the end credits. Nick Daviss writing and treatment, brought forth a narrative thats both minimalistic and complex, and at the same time preserving a sense of surreality, and enhanced tremendously by its chilling soundtrack. Being confined to a single location, both actors pushed themselves beyond their usual personas, providing much of their own improvs and building upon the script with each take. Working on this film had been a challenging race against time, but also another great learning experience. Its been a while since I was involved with something that was related to Psychology since I graduated 2 years ago. I hope you guys enjoy this one! P.S. Flamethrowers are dangerous!
