Oh, that the day would come: When prayer meetings are more important than church dinners. Time with our children is more important than the houses we live in or the cars we drive. Winning the lost is more important than holding a position or having a title in the church. Showing our children, by example, how to shout, sing, dance fanatically unto The Lord is paramount regardless of what people might think about us. Memorizing scripture is a part of daily activies intrinsicly motivated -- without rewards of money or trophies. Praise and worship is more than well written lyrics or catchy tunes; it is the overflow of a grateful, redeemed soul. But what will it take to get the church there? The people of God may have to experience great pain, great loss of the things that cause lukewarmness and lackadaisical apathy... I choose to press, to seek, to burn with passion for Christ now. Take my success. Take my houses and lands. Take my cars and toys ... If thats what it takes to return to You, Jesus. With my family, with my friends I come to You. Take over.
