Oh the joys of booking shows... I love it when a booking manager contacts me, and after I explain we are an out of town band putting together a tour to promote our record, asks if a) we are cool with selling tickets for the show locally (as in the town we are going to that we dont live in) ourselves, b) if we can bring all the PA/staging, and c) wants a 3 hour cover set with no originals.... Ugh... Whatever happened to bars/clubs booking good bands and promoting themselves?
