Oh, this. 100%. No picture I could take of my perfectly healthy body could even come close to what these women endure every single day. Ive seen brave, and its NOT me. At all. Go down to Childrens and youll see what brave is. While Im on it, Im disgusted with how little awareness childhood cancer gets. I get it. Its uncomfortable to watch a child get sick and possibly die. I actually feel so ashamed that it seems as though women value themselves over their children. Id rather spend my time and effort trying, in however small a way, to ensure my son and nephews make it through their childhood happy and healthy. Dont get me wrong, Im glad it gets attention. But Im sure ashamed and disgusted that we apparently care more about fishing for compliments through these no makeup selfies than comforting children and their families who are in hell. Enjoy your bare, beautiful, HEALTHY faces!
