Oh what a beautiful morning. Oh what a beautiful day. I feel a song in my heart today as we are once again blessed with another lovely Thursday. Perrysburg Farmers Market has had exceptional weather this season. The produce is absolutely beautiful this time of year. The many varieties and colors of tomatoes; the glossy eggplants; peppers of varied shapes, colors, and tastes; melons that shock the taste buds with flavor; some of Shared Legacys organic onions, and of course, lots of Big Daves Supersweet Corn (white and bi-color today). We will be having a cantaloupe special selling them for $1.00 each. What a bargain and packed with nutrition. Diane will have her tasty baked goods ready to tease your mouth. The Ackermans have Red Raspberries (a fruit fit for a king). Jerry and Jen have been busy picking and arranging their gorgeous cut flowers. Come join the excitement today from 3pm - 8pm. There are only 6 more Thursday market days remaining this season and right now is PRIME produce season. Time to can, freeze or dry the bounty and tastes of summer. We will be bringing some bulk tomatoes along and have a great supply currently available at our farm market on Route 2. I canned some heirlooms the other day and they look so very yummy. So dont dawdle. Come visit us before the produce leaves us for another season. Have a blessed day. Peace
