Oh what a blessed day got halibut and cod from Richard over in Togiak. Gave to my family here in Clarks Point along with Aurora & Morris and Harry & Pauline. Now I have a favor how do you dry or smoke halibut and cod. I am canning 2 day smoke reds at the same time. Thank God for multi-tasking. Andy Wassily explained how to fillet out the halibut and I did a fantastic job. I am proud. So anyone that has done halibut please comment and tell me how to do it. Do I brine like Salmon then hang or just plain dried.
