Oh what a night!! Union Parish public schools will make their final merge beginning this school year. Our pastor is a proud product of the UPSchool System where he played basketball @ Marion H.S. Pastor D., who graduated from Marion in 1980, holds four national records, including the No. 1 single-season average for points when he scored an incredible 54 points per game during the 1979-80 season. He finished with 4,070 pts, which ranks 10th on the all-time national list. To make the long story short, MHBC went to Greater Pleasant Grove BC in Unionville, LA for their 1st night of revival & their pastor/overseer William Fields, Sr. blessed our pastor to the extreme by presenting him with memorabilia from Marion H.S. On behalf of our pastor, WE, the MHBC family say thank you, thank you, thank you to WILLIAM FIELDS, SR. & SUPT. DR. GEORGE CANNON for this marvelous surprise!! Ohhhhh, the memory of this night...
