Oh yeah baby! More carbs for this happy girl! Looks like coming home to Winnipeg has the universe all aligned to bring my best package ever. Side by side with my best friend and Husband. I know first hand how difficult it is when your spouse/partner does not support you and your goals. I lived it. And it was not good. People are now commenting on how I appear to glow the last 2 years that have been on stage. I will tell you that comes 100% from with-in. A level of happiness and self-love that has taken me years and years to get to. Having the support of your spouse to whatever level is very important. I am blessed that my life has lead me to the perfect man for ME. My goal this year was to become a National Level Figure Athlete. I wrote it on my goals board in January. Competing in my home town. I have done 2 shows in the last 5 weeks and my goal has been reached! To be able to come here with Michael Grayer and both compete at such a level I feel says so much about Him as a trainer, and us as support for each other. It makes it easier to do yes, but as all of you who know- there is also some serious challenges:) To all the Athletes about to hit the National Stage this weekend - enjoy it all! I know I will be!! At 44 years old to be able to compete in both the open ( 18-35) and Masters (35-45) I am proud to have made it there at the top of the age chain! lol I am grateful for the support of all the Team Evolve and Team NGA peeps out of TORQUE BARBELL CLUB. I am grateful for all my CEME Slim and CEME Tone peeps who give me such love and energy every day! I am grateful for all the amazing Ontario Physique peeps who have welcomed me back to this federation with open arms and are there to help with any question I had along the way! This sport is challenging and harder than most people even have any clue. So when you get support from those who live it, it is a wonderful feeling. I thank you all for your awesome words, your tips and your energy! This girl is full SPARKLE mode! I can not wait to see my girls who are making it to the stage with me! One love for all! My parents, sister, nieces and good friends from Winnipeg now get to see me live, and THAT, to me, is awesome! Im here to rock that stage the only way I know how.....
