Ohh you dont want deal with a mama bear after denying her child - TopicsExpress

Ohh you dont want deal with a mama bear after denying her child food! So I deposited $45 in Andys online lunch account at 5:30am Wednesday morning, which is encouraged by the school nutrition service office to speed up the lunch line process. The cafeteria fed Andy yesterday, so I assumed that the deposit cleared with no delays. Well I get a text from my sons teacher today saying that the lunch lady wont give him lunch since he is negative. His awesome teacher apologized because she knew I had deposited money online in advance, but explained that the balance was not in the lunch system and she didnt have any cash to pay for him. I sent a screenshot to his teacher, she shows the line lady and the lunch lady still refuses him lunch, which would have been a simple manually process!!! Not only does that infuriate me because I paid $45 plus a $2 online processing fee, but it was pizza day and Andy loves pizza day. So I called the main school office and demanded that they walk over to the lunch lady and make her provide him lunch, but I also asked for the number of the Nutrition Office and District Office because it is ridiculous that their lunch staff is being so stubborn about manually charging even after I show proof of deposit and balance. Well after raising hell, I was told that there was a system glitch and a handful of students had the same issue today. They profusely apologized and said that it wont happen again. By that time, we were able to take Andy a Burger King meal, which excited him as much as pizza. So will this mother bear let it go? Hell no, I am not Elsa from Frozen! Now I am on a crusade to have their delinquency lunch policy changed. Dont deny kids lunch (especially on Pizza Day) and especially if their parents are showing proof of advanced payment plus their damn $2 online processing fee! Now I am hungry because I spent my lunch on the time resolving this issue. My hungry is totally worth sparing in the name of my child, but the confusion and embarrassment of my child is not!
