Ohio. Currently in Belmont County. Martins Ferry. Rescue friends, I really need your help for rescue for this precious dog. He was just taken in by a family because they were contacted by a friend that he was on the streets and eating from garbage cans. They took him in but they already have three dogs of their own and the husband of the family is very ill. This is a pure sheepdog with papers to prove it. Is already neutered and vetted. Already flea treated. Has the absolutely most calm wonderful demeanor you could imagine because I just met him myself. Is fantastic with the familys other two very small dogs and other large sheepdog, and was fantastic with them right from the start. He does not appear to be house trained as far as peeing goes, but could probably quickly learn that. The addition of a fourth dog that is large and needs housetrained is too much for the woman and her ill husband to handle. The stress level is really high in the house because of it. I met these folks when walking my own dogs. I just need to say it like it is, when this dog tries to lift his leg in the house, the husband who has little patience is hitting him. Somebody please help. I can help with transport.
