Ohio believes that the only way to attract business is to tax workers and let business and giving the wealthy tax breaks. They do not understand that business do not want to locate in an area where people can afford to buy their products and are educated enough to work in new industries. People do not want to open businesses in cities that are full of garbage, low on police and fire protection, and where they have to pay big bucks if they want to insure their employees because Ohio has not yet decided what to do about health care. Business do not want to locate in a state with cities that have closed libraries, defunded parks and recreation, taken away money from education that grows the workforce, works to keep worker wages low, and does not want to invest in youth or employees. Who would want to depend on having customers in this environment and all for the sake of letting the wealthy have more?
