Oikocredit is looking for a project officer to be based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. As a project officer, you will support the manager in communication and information exchange with Oikocredit’s partner organizations, provide general office administrative support as well as identify new opportunities in the region. You will analyse market information and applications, participate in field visits and prepare summaries for Oikocredit on potential partners in impact investment sectors, primarily microfinance. In addition to this, you will collect information and report on the financial and social performance of partners. Oikocredit is looking for someone with a strong interest in social entrepreneurship (preferably microfinance) with a university degree in finance, economics or development studies and a minimum of five years’ relevant work experience. Strong analytical skills, experience in conducting financial analysis as well as strong time management and good communication skills are a must. The position requires proficiency in both Russian and English. Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills is also required. This position will be based in Oikocredit’s representative office in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The seniority of the position will depend on qualifications and experience.
