Oil is not a bonus for Scotland, we spend every penny and much, much more to fund the current public spending. If we had voted Yes, we would be staring at public sector cuts equivalent to the size of the entire education budget; far, far larger than anything George Osbourne could imagine in his wildest dreams. The SNP simply lied about the impact oil price volatility would have had on an independent Scotland.
