OilandGasRecruiter - this site is currently being built, you can view the layout now if you are interested. I am currently seeking people that would like to have their resume in the database before launch (September). This site will resemble LinkedIn for oil and gas professionals. Following are a list of features for the site, please make comments or express ideas you would like to see added. - profiles can be created like LinkedIn and Facebook - this will give employers a face to put with the information you are posting about yourself. - there will be a social media capability, this way people can share information, contact recruiters, and learn more about the companies they are interested in applying. - job board, so companies and recruiter can seek qualified and interested candidates - there will be almost 1500 job categories to post and select from. - featured candidates (only paid feature for job seekers) and employers. Your profile can be posted on the homepage (or possibly a featured candidate page, not sure yet). There will be 5 slots available, weekly or monthly options. - featured employers can also put themselves in a page rotation, this will be similar to the candidates except its more of an advertisement for them. Placed on the top or bottom of the homepage. - oil and gas news feeds, tips for resumes, places for a professional resume services, and hopefully professional can be recruited to write a monthly article (fracing, recruiters, engineers, etc...) - instant access to Skype candidates or schedule online interviews. This gives employers and recruiters the opportunity to do a face to face interview, which is always better than blind hiring. This is the idea for the site, the paid memberships are for recruiters and employers only. All access will be FREE for 60 days to help launch the site. This will include unlimited job postings, access to the resume database, and profile pages for employers and recruiters (a basic profile page will be FREE anyway).
