Ok, 4 week post surgery update! Therapy 3x per week is brutal, but necessary, and today was NOT a good day! I had planned by now (hahahaha) to be walking on my own, with little to no issues! NOT! I am still walking with one crutch,(an improvement over the past few weeks) but bear hunting next week is OUT of the question as I cannot climb a tree stand((or get down!!) Not happy about this at all! Slightly depressed at the progress or lack thereof thus far! I am at least driving myself to therapy now! The pain I have had in that Left knee for so very long is gone, and so is the twinge in the Right, but I had thought I would be much further along by now! Have spent many sleepless, pain-filled nights and am frustrated! (thank you to my friends who are also up in the middle of the night for various reasons for being there!) I believe I need beach therapy!! Something!Has! Got! to give! Ugh! Shelley and Steves wedding is in 11 short weeks! I NEED to be 100% by then! God has a funny way of reminding us that things in our lives happen on HIS time, and not on our own! Thank you Karen, for reminding me of that! And for reminding me to not pray for patience, but for healing! I am bored, and frustrated, but I have much to be thankful for, I know this! But need a break! Thanks for letting me rant FB friends!
