Ok Alison Eden Copeland ill answer this question..but too be honest its too many things to count. Ill name a few. elementary school i freaked out on Michael Jackson..i tried to sing and dance like him..also starred at ozzy Osbourne records a lot. Jr High was skateboarding video music..mainly SST Catalog and Homestead Catalog. Plus 1980s MTV ..and Easy E Christmas album.Big Boys, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Kid N Play, Zappa, .plus my cousins Industrial record collection ..where i also found Skinny Puppy, Cure, Violent Femmes, Pixies, shit like that. I saw Sonic Youth with Pavement Opening in late 1990 in Dallas. Started paying attention to more bands...Flaming Lips, Grifters, also my father pictured framed famous blues musicians records etc,,and would dget free stuff...Jerry Reed, SRV, stuff like that..and more..my neighbors let me borrow Hendrix Electric Ladyland, Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet, & The Doors Strange Days. Discovered all at the same time...13 years old...CCR! skated too Decendents, Dinosaur, My Bloody Valentine..saw Nirvana..was super rad show...uhmm. discovered John Fahey..blew my mind. found it in th eIrving Library...found Pail Head record in used bin in thrift store...my first 45 was We Are The World. my mom bought for me for christmas. I starred at tv a lot watching Slash play guitar..and the Woodstock concert. especially hendrix...maybe my favorite thing ever. so yeah Tone Loc-....discovered Elvis and Neil young the same time...freaked me out. my family doesnt like Neil Young..too whiny..what does Spot say about his thing--cheers Ali!
