Ok. Baby update. Main problem is fluid on lungs. Baby is straining to breathe. So he is in a humidicrib with oxygen. Blood tests showed an infection but they dont know where or what sort. They are doing further tests to pin point that and we should know in 24-48 hours. In the meantime he is on 2 different types of antibiotics to cover all bases as be is quite sick and they dont want anymore risks. He is unable to come out of humidi crib for cuddles. He is unable to have expressed milk because of the risk of it going into his lungs and causing further problems. So they have him on a drip to hydrate him. He has a nasal gastric tube in to drain fluid and excess air from his tummy. He got ever so slightly better overnight and dr would like to try giving him some of my milk around lunchtime and possibly even a quick cuddle for us this afternoon. Normally we would be welcoming visitors by now, but considering the circumstances we will be putting them off for a while. Every baby that cries I think is mine. I am having all the tubes removed from me this morning so I will be able to go visit him. I had NO sleep lastnight. Desperately want a cuddle :(
