Ok Beth Kakacek Munce. Since you wont let me slide (and you know I tried), here are four things many people dont know about me... 1. I’ve worn glasses since I was 18 months old. I even spent some time with a pirate’s patch. 2. I thought it would be funny to see if my very good friend could catch a giant food service cart after I sent it cruising down a ramp at her. Too much momentum. Two broken wrists. Not funny. 3. I lost my academic scholarship after my freshman year at Marquette. Subsequently, my parents put me to work for a summer in a Georgia factory with no A/C. There was no love for a Yankee, Catholic, college girl, so I was put to the test. My supervisor put me on a line where I took oven doors out of the sizzling hot shrink wrapper with no gloves burning my arms, made me plug wires until my fingers were bloody and ostracized me from my co-workers who were forbidden to talk to me (I could go on and on). Can you say Dean’s List my sophomore year? 4. My time in Georgia wasn’t all bad. I found a love for almost anything pickled, especially okra and beans (and especially if they are in a super spicy Bloody Mary).
