Ok. But heres the thing. This nurse is only paid £25,000 a year. Carers deal with all of this, and we get minimum wage. I mean Im not suggesting a carer could do a nurses job...obviously there are clinical skills nurses have that carers dont (although we might have more medical-type skills than you think. I am personally trained in medication administration, pressure sores, epilepsy, autism, mental health, and restraint) but we literally get the shit beaten out of us in some cases for like six quid an hour. Do people...do people not realise carers often deal with violence? I knew a girl who had a tooth knocked out by a client. For six quid odd an hour.
