Ok, Candy Coleman Hendrix, even though Ive done this once, I do believe that because I am so old, I can come up with 7 more quite easily: 1. I was in the National Thespians in H.S. I had lead roles in the Junior Play (The Life of the Party) and the Senior Play (A Rocket in My Pocket). And in college the Drama Club did The Skin of Our Teeth. 2. I majored in English and French in college only because they did not have majors in Rook or Table Tennis. If they had, Im sure my GPA would have been higher. 3. While in college, I ran for the position of Intramural Rep. fro my class, and to sway the voters, I posted flyers with the picture of a skeleton on them which said, Vote for Bones 4. I have had more than a few nicknames over the years: In kindergarten, the other kids said I was skinnier than a piece of dirt. From there, I have been called Stringbean, Billboard, Bones, Bill Bobbings, Rev and PB - and those are the ones I can repeat. 5. I won more games than the Yankees ever thought of winning and it was all in my own back yard. I would throw a ball up on the roof and when it came down, I would hit it and do the play-by-play. I also spent countless hours throwing a ball against the foundation of the house and fielding it when it rebounded. And yes, the concrete wall eventually did need some repair. 6. I come from a family who loved to sing. As we all got older, we would come home for the holidays, and every time, without fail, my Dad would insist that we sing his favorite song, Jesus, Hold My Hand. 7. Just in case you didnt know I was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) at the age of 63. I received a bone marrow transplant in August 2012, and today, I am disease-free, and have returned to full-time ministry and I owe it all to the prayers and support of my friends and family and to a GOD who is GOOD ~ ALL the TIME !!
