Ok Cerah K Imani you challenged me and i accept! GRATITUDE CHALLENGE DAY ONE: 1) What can i say Lord. Im grateful for being there for me, even when i felt as if you werent. Thank you for your quiet and steady guidance that has brought me this far. Thank you for hearing my prayers, and showing me that you heard me. Thank you for the favor that i have had from you thus far, even when i felt that i was the least deserving of it. Thank you because im so sure you love me...even with all my many faults and flaws. For guiding me in my career, my family life, for consistently revealing to me what my next steps should be when i ask. Thank you for showing me that you put me on this planet for a reason, and for constantly guiding me and helping me to fulfill that destiny. Thank you for your constant forgiveness and mercy, even when i feel like i dont deserve it. 2) Id like to say a big thank you to my sisters and brothers Sarah Gatumu, Daniel Kagwi David Kagwi Charity Kagwi Ndungu For that wonderful sibling love that youve given me throughout my life. Because i know i can come to you anytime, and you will come through for me, no matter what. For being my silent pillars of support that i can always lean on. David, my childhood protector who fought off all the bullies, :-) charity, always advocating for my rights, and clearing the path, so that i could get from one level to the next. Daniel, my wise advisor and prayer warrior, constantly praying for me with or without my knowledge. Sarah, my second mum :-) a role you played for all of us, and a role im ever so grateful for. You are all such wonderful people, and i thank you for having my back, as i do yours. For laughing with me, crying with me, getting angry with me, and celebrating with me. For cheering me on in this journey called life. Im honored and glad that im your kid sis. I celebrate you all. 3) To my dad whos looking down at me, and my wonderful mom...what can i say. Thank you doesnt even begin to express how grateful i am for having you as my parents. Ive always known i could count on you, and i thank you for that. Daddy, i hope ive made you proud :-). i hope youre looking down at me and telling the angels thats my girl just like you always did when you were here on earth. Thank you dad for being so loving and warm. for your constant prayers and victory declarations over my life. That is the reason i am who i am today. Thank you for being my rock, my mentor, and showing me that i could do anything i put my heart and sweat into. Mum...even now i still call on you to help me. :-) remember when nyakio had colic, and you moved in to help me out? i can never forget that. it meant so much just to know mum is around. it made me calm and gave me peace. i can only hope i can be as great a mother as you are. I could go on and on...but ill leave it at that for today :-)
