Ok, Facebookers. Educate me. I am a classic rock fan, with some prog rock and Pink Floyd thrown in. Never got into metal or punk. Got a smattering of songs I like from more current artists, but for the most part the only experience of new music I get is if I hear it in a soundtrack or when Weird Al Yankovic makes a parody. Whats been created in the last, say, five years, that would interest me? Im not an angry guy or an emo guy so I can skip those, but theres a huge amount of music being produced and I gotta think Id like some of it. Whatcha got? (It would help if you can provide context, like so-and-so band has a strong Who influence or something.)
