Ok Fatties. Drop what youre doing and get down to Memphis bbq pit, 29 York street Penrith. After missing out on a friends birthday here 2 weeks ago , but still having to listen to all the mouth watering stories from them all, I knew I had to check it out. Went there today with the other half , and wow I wasnt let down !! This is my new favourite burger in Sydney. I decided to taste the chilli burger. Two 1 inch thick patties , perfectly melted cheese, grilled onions , jalapeños , lettuce , and perfectly seasoned chilli con carne that oozed out of the soft sesame seed buns. The patties were grilled to perfection. So juicy and moist with a hint of pink in the centre. If I were on death row this burger would be my request for a last meal. Spuds were pretty standard , but still crisp and seasoned well. The place is decked out like a real American diner. Juke box playing old time tunes and all. Terrible location which does it absolutely no justice. I left my details and will be talking to the owner about a franchise opportunity. Put this one on your next to visit list.
